I am Caroline Polansky, the designer and maker behind C. Pate Jewelry.

I officially began my business in 2005, renting a small booth in a designer’s co-op in NYC and selling my gold-filled wire-wrapped designs, which eventually grew into a successful wholesale business attending the NY and Atlanta trade shows. I wound down my business while my babies were small, and in 2022 returned to making jewelry with new interest in metalsmithing. Entirely self taught, my jewelry is crafted from precious and semi-precious metals and gemstones, a product of experimentation and the joy it brings me to create one-of-a-kind pieces from my studio in Sewanee, TN.
